What do you think about it? I loved how they portrayed the scenes from the book with stronger colors and light, but the whole movie was a bit clumsy and confusing. I liked the story though. Share your opinions.

No, it's a Jim Carrey film. It was...weird to say the least. Though it might be worth a tentative glance, if you're into that sort of thing.

It surprised and impressed me when I saw it at the cinema, to be honest. I was expecting really bad acting and for it to be much more clumsy - and somewhat of just a bloody thriller (maybe just because I happen to not watch reviews or trailers or read up prior to movies, but sometimes go only by the poster).
But it had a certain depth to it, that was refreshing at the time - came out not too far away from Epic Movie, didn't it? Or a similar wave of movies, that were incredibly brainless and mind-numbing. So I liked that it made a fickle attempt at something deeper.
